Note
I. Residence Booklet has the legal effect to prove a citizen’s identity status and mutual relations among family members, and is the main basis for household registration office to investigate and confirm his/her registered permanent residence. During check, the household owner or members of this household shall show the booklet of his/her own free will.
II. The household owner shall keep the booklet properly. It is forbidden to modify, transfer or lend it. If the booklet is lost, the owner shall report to the household registration office immediately.
III. The registration right of the booklet belongs to household registration office, and any other organization or individual shall not make any record on it.
IV. If the members increase or decrease or registration items change in this household, the members shall apply for registration in household registration office with the booklet.
V. When the whole household moves out of the jurisdictional residence area, the residence booklet shall be returned to household registration office for cancellation. |
